100th Bomb Group Dedication

For many years, 100th Bomb Group veterans and their families have been asking about a permanent repository for their artifacts in the United States. Over the past four years, Bob Wolff and the 100th Bomb Group Foundation have been seeking the right venue with the right atmosphere that would hold our heritage in high esteem; and we finally found it!

At the Albuquerque Reunion we approved a resolution to fund a permanent display for the 100th Bomb Group at the Palm Springs Air Museum. The Palm Springs Air Museum and the 100th Bomb Group Foundation are proud to announce that on January 23, 2010, we will be dedicating the permanent stateside display to the 100th Bomb Group at the Palm Spring Air Museum.

With their flyable B-17G, the Palms Springs Air Museum is one of the finest "Flying Museums" in the United States. This is the perfect marriage to educate future generations about the 8th Air Force/100th Bomb Group and the aircraft they flew. The 100th Bomb Group Foundation would like you to join with our veterans and their families in celebrating this historic occasion.
