All elements of an entertaining show are embodied while reminiscing on the "music and events of the 1940s". A unique show featuring the unforgettable music that reflects those historical times...the "Flaming Forties".
Oct 30 Lady Lex - The story of the Lexington CV-2 by Vincent Anderson, historian and survivor of the sinking of this famous aircraft carrier at the Battle of the Coral Sea in May of 1942.

Dec 8* Wednesday Evening Speaker Series - The legend of Pancho Barnes and the Happy Bottom Riding Club film screening. Florence "Pancho" Barnes became the first female Hollywood stunt pilot in 1929, she shattered Amelia Earhart's air speed record in 1930, and in the 40's and 50's, she entertained test pilots at her "Happy Bottom Riding Club" guest ranch near Edwards AFB. Come learn more about this legend and view the documentary at the Palm Springs Air Museum. There will be a special screening of the documentary "Pancho Barnes" followed by a Q and A session by the writer and producer, Nick Spark.
