Florence "Pancho" Barnes became the first female Hollywood stunt pilot in 1929, she shattered Amelia Earhart's air speed record in 1930, and in the 40's and 50's, she entertained test pilots at her "Happy Bottom Riding Club" guest ranch near Edwards AFB.
