The Palm Springs Air Museum houses one of the nation's largest collection of World War II flying aircraft displayed in modern, well lighted, air-conditioned and clean hangars. Our Buddy Rodgers Theater shows daily documentaries about aviation in the military with an emphasis on World War II. In addition to planes and historic artifacts, the museum is host to a library of 6300 volumes primarily related to aviation and American military history. Complimenting our extensive displays, the museum sponsors Saturday commemorative educational programs for our visitors and members. These Saturday programs often include demonstration flights of our aircraft. On those days, members and visitors can participate in the sights and sounds of World War II or later conflicts as these programs dictate. See Events above for more information.

Palm Springs Air Museum Introductory Video

The Palm Springs Air Museum remembers the commitment and sacrifices of the Greatest Generation by memorializing the 65th Anniversary of the end World War II. In a series of historical programs beginning with an Open House on November 7, the Museum will present this series beginning with the Road to War and finishing with the Japanese surrender on the Missouri. Presented by those who were there, these programs will commence in November and continue on until late February. They will feature, among other things, live presentations from those that were actually there to witness these historical events. 65th Anniversary Programs Nov 7 –  “Road to War” – Open House (free to all) Nov 27 – “Africa – Mediterranean” Dec 4 –  “Pearl Harbor to Coral Sea” Dec 18 – “Air War Over Europe” Jan 8 –  “Island Hopping the Pacific” Jan 22 – “D-Day to VE Day, Road to Berlin” Feb 5 –  “Road to Tokyo” Feb 26 – “Peace At Last” (see Events above for more information)

Admissions Adults, 18 to 65 years $12.00 Seniors, 65 and older $10.00 Retired military with ID $10.00 Youth, 13 to 17 years $10.00 Children, 6 to 12 years $5.00 Children 5 and younger Free Family Group of 2 adults and 3 children under 13 $25.00 Active Duty Military & Families are admitted free. Museum members are free and day-of-entry admissions can be applied to a membership. No discounts (Senior, Retired, Coupon, etc.) on Saturdays. We are not responsible for prices quoted elsewhere.

Museum Store While visiting the museum, please take the opportunity to peruse our museum store. We carry rare and unusual items related to World War II, the military and aviation including navigation charts, airplane accessories and pilot merchandise. And you can visit our store online with just a click of the button.
